The Zing 2s are better irons. You could buy a Zing 2 or Zing 2iron any time in the future for a couple of 20 dollar bills at most and believe me, you won't want to. I would try to raise the extra bucks for I3 or Eye2s. But Zing 2s are definitely better than original Zings.
Zing is a little more compact than the Zing 2. My Zing Redwood seems to be the same as my Zing 2. I was never a fan of the original the 2 just fits my eye better plus I like the line on the bottom vs the top line marking.

Took the ISI, Zing 2 and Glide 4.0 wedges to the range this morning. I found if I swing the ISI and Zing 2 more like irons, the blade tends to open up and I undercut the ball. If I keep my legs still and my swing only involves the arms, I hit the ball better.
