Obviously, I can see how “Let’s go!” (get ice cream!), for example, became an exclamation. But I don’t really see how it transitioned to a sports context, e.g. “Let’s go Dodgers!” (Let us go Dodgers??). Or more generally, “LET’S GOOO” as an exclamation when something good happens in a sports context. Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

I see this so often in videos on or elsewhere, for example some guys try to do a stunt and when it finally is successful, everyone goes LETS GOOO. It may be my autism but i find this extremely annoying (besides the fact that i find the yelling annoying per se), since what you tried to accomplish is now finished, so why scream Lets go?

I follow a French person and almost every day, one of their posts has the caption “Gooo” with an emoji after it. I tried looking up “go” but it doesn’t have any different translation to English. Help fulfill my curiosity! Thanks ahead of time!

Anyone else tired of hearing LETS GOOO!! every 5 minutes? I don't know what it is about this phrase but it just grates my ears everytime I hear it, and it's so persuasive across all now.
