All the news about Plex these days is about integrating with web based programming. News. Tidal. Podcasts. Next should be the live TV providers. I personally use Sling TV, but of course there are others. If I could have my Sling TV channels in the same guide as my OTA channels from my HDHomeRun, I would basically launch Plex when I turn on my TV and never leave.

Sling is a streaming service, that allows you to use AirTV to add (adapter purchase required) OTA and other streaming services. (EXTREMELY simplified) Plex is a content you already have locally in your house service, that allows you to buy your own (but must be supported by Plex) OTA Cable tuner to add DVR LIVE TV capability.
I wish I didn’t have to use Channels DVR but I use it to integrate Sling into Live TV as a lot of people do. Right now I only use Plex for movies since there is no TVE option. I know this topic has been raised before since at least 2019. I’d really like to dump Channels. Does Plex have any plans in the near future to integrate TV Everywhere? If not, why not? Thanks.

As opposed to the original Air TV, this new model (seems like it’s been quietly available since Dec or Jan) is a networked dual tuner. The few reviews I’ve seen say it’s surprisingly fast, I’m curious if anyone has used this in general, and in particular with Plex DVR and Live TV.
How do I add Channels like Tubi and my Sling subscription to Plex Player? I have a Plex Pass. I can not figure this out. Thanks, Stan

I am Canadian and use Bell fibre TV, but after reading the docs I’m not sure how I would setup Bell fibe tv to work with Plex DVR and live tv features…do I need hardware to plug it to Bell’s or it is a pure software play? I need specific instructions and I can’t seem to find them on the docs.
