It is rude, not sarcastic, if someone asks a "yes or no" question to two completely different questions and only one answer comes out as a reply. A lot ruder still if asked a qualitative question and answered with "Yes."

I tried looking through the config files of Yes Steve Model to figure out how to make my own models and came across a file in which I'm assuming is the raw code used to build out the models. While I do think I would eventually figure out what each number does, I don't think it's very practical to actually model something by adjusting the numbers.

I always answer yes and have gotten a bunch of job offers over the years despite it. My yes is physical disabilities, but I see no reason not to say yes if it’s true. I don’t want to work for someone who isn’t ok with my body being broken.

It means "yes". But it could have other context. Did they seem ready to answer a question? Maybe they were surprised. Is the name of the doctor on the door or building? Maybe they meant "of course" (they think it is obvious). My third idea is, a one word answer can be impolite, so they think "why yes" is more friendly.
