My son got Blinn Team this morning. He wants to be in the Corps. Are Blinn Team kids able to be in any outfit or do they have to be in a separate Blinn Team outfit?

Blinn TEAM is considered full admit and TEAM numbers are included in TAMU’s enrollment numbers. It’s a way for TAMU to bring in well qualified students who aren’t auto admit. As we all know, the top 10% rule can create a lot of disappointment for those enrolled in particularly challenging or small schools.

Blinn Team differs because you are an A&M student. Your can Rush, will have an A&M student ID, can get a sports pass, have a meal pass to eat on campus, live in a campus dorm and anything else you would do as an A&M student.

My DD got accepted to Blinn Team! I’m slightly confused with the FIXED vs VARIABLE tuition choice since I have to pay tuition to both schools. Blinn Team is cheaper than full admission. It is not in the school’s best interest to give people that choice. This is a creative way they have come up with to eventually get more kids into the A&M system because there isn’t space for all of them as freshman, but as sophomores and juniors, there is.

Blinn is going to be very close to being a regular student at A&M, it’s cheaper and he gets to take Freshman classes with a couple dozen people instead of a few hundred.

Blinn Team was offered to me. I had to check a box in my application stating that I would be interested in the Blinn Team program. Also, a lot of out of state students,which I am, are offered Blinn Team.
