When print to Adobe it converts the entire pdf font to Helvetica, not Ariel any longer. When I open the editable pdf all the fonts are Helvetica. So, to say I have a 50 pages to each report in the Helvetica font. Acrobat Pro DC does not come with the Helvetica font. I cannot find how to install the Helvetica font to Acrobat Pro DC. Can anyone help.

Certain fonts are installed with (certain versions of) certain applications, and you may buy (or download free) fonts. Normally, the fonts are installed in the main font folder, thereby accessible within all applications, and remain there even after uninstallation of the application it was installed with.

The problem with Helvetica is that it comes from many sources, so unless you have the exact same font file installed, you'll get "missing font". Of course, if that's what you have I can't explain the message.

The Helvetica font family is not a font provided by Adobe. There is a TrueType Helvetica family bundled with MacOS, but not with Windows. If you really prefer Helvetica, you need to license from a font vendor such as myfonts .
